Forest Carbon

The role of land-based carbon projects in the UK

Voluntary carbon woodland creation and peatland restoration projects play a vital role in climate regulation within the UK, as well as providing a host of other benefits to society including flood mitigation, river improvement, biodiversity and public access. We will explore the importance of the business community in helping fund projects certified under the two government backed standards; the Woodland Carbon Code and the Peatland Code.
