About Carlos Ludlow-Palafox

Carlos graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico City and came to the UK to do his PhD at the University of Cambridge. He specialised in microwave induced pyrolysis and how it could be used to recycle complex waste streams. After his PhD, he continued to develop the process, obtaining a patent for the recycling of laminated packaging before founding Enval in 2006.

To consider treatment or possible recycling of problem wastes including used nappies, batteries and in this case plastic composite pouches for food, drink and pet food.
