Skip Hire & Waste Magazine
Voice of the Skip Hire, Recycling and Waste industries.
Skip Hire & Waste Magazine is distributed to a database of 10,000 entries as a high quality A4 Glossy publication throughout the UK and Ireland.
We provide informative and fun content to appeal to recycling, skip hire and commercial waste recycling businesses wanting to keep up with current affairs, legislation, market trends, products and services, and competitor movements.
Skip Hire & Waste Magazine has come a long way since its establishment in 2005 as a humble publication with the intention to create a bridge to the waste recycling industry.
In the early days, it was conceived as a publication sent out to skip hire yards. It was thumbed through by drivers, picking station workers, office staff and senior management. Then it was ever so subtly called The Skip (there`s a real surprise) and went out to just a few hundred companies.
Fast forward to today, and we have created a veritable monster. The Skip was creatively rebranded Skip Hire Magazine, and now as Skip Hire & Waste magazine we distribute each issue to over 7000 companies.
The monthly publication has got a whole lot glossier, a whole lot bigger, and a whole lot better.
Today, Skip Hire & Waste Magazine has a detailed database of over 10,000 individual entries - from international companies to individual industry consultants.
We get invited to every single industry show and exhibition in the UK, and are greeted like old friends by people in the industry from John O`Groats to Lands End. The people we deal with like us, and guess what? We genuinely like them too; like an old pair of comfortable boots.
Nowadays we are a highly professional outfit, made up of top-notch editorial and advertising gurus, who spend every hour of the day working on your behalf (except when we`re sleeping).
We have come on leaps and bounds since our inception, and since 2014 have fronted the annual WASTE show which attracts a wide variety of industry members up and down Britain, and hundreds of visitors from all over the UK and beyond.
Where will we be in a decade, we hear you ask? Well, with the explosion of the waste recycling sector, there are still markets to conquer and many new people to meet.
In an ever changing industry, we aim to reflect the difficulties of doing business in the 21st century, and can promise our future readers a kaleidoscope of cutting-edge material.
While we will be developing our online and social media presence, we won`t forget many of our readers still want to get their mitts on a magazine.
